Let' see if we can work this out, Cinj.

If 10,000 people had been killed then the quake would have been the "devil's" fault.

Since no one was killed the shitwits think their fucking 'god' spared us.

And when 10,000 Japs are killed in a quake it's 'god' punishing them for Pearl Harbor.

Yeah. Makes perfect sense.

Don't forget, their god showed his mercy and love when 3 people were rescued from the rubble.

You'd think an "omnipotent" god would have avoided covering them with rubble in the first place? Maybe he didn't think of that.

Oh...but then there's that whole "all-knowing" thing.

Yes we understand there is no God.

Sheesh, the sarcasm get old, like you.

Haha. I'm such an ass-hole. Undecided

I finally got a hold of Dad.

Dad: Hello?
Me: Hey!
Dad:...what?
Me: ummm....trying to see if you're okay after that earthquake...y'know?
Dad: Nothing happened. Waste of time. What are you doing? Did you just get out of class? Go home and study. (etc, etc)

Strange rumblin's don't bother an old military man no how. I went home and studied.

Civilian earthquakes don't affect the military, O Queen Smile

My dad is fairly unflappable when it comes to weather. He is, on the other hand, a hypochondriac and a bit of a woo-supporter when it comes to the organics movement. I find that pretty sad, coming from a former farm boy, but college education gives you all sorts of strange ideas.
