Speak English, will ya!

I will answer truthfully, but not always intelligibly.

Are you willing to do my home work for me?

I don't know. How much do you pay?

I'll take 1 cent the first day of a month, 2 cents the second day, 4 cents the third day, doubling each day for 30 days.

Hey purple... this is the introductions section. How about you lighten up a bit, eh?

Also - Welcome Polymath! You and KS should get along swimmingly. He loves doing proofs - for fun!

I don't just do them for fun. I get paid to do them. The best of all worlds!

Only one PhD, in math. The subject was in abstract harmonic analysis dealing with sets of uniqueness for trigonometric series.

In physics, I did not get a PhD, although I passed the qualifying exams (my responsibilities in the math department increased and I had no time for the physics research to finish).

A-nyway, we have a few math-y people. I have a love hatred relationship with that harsh mistress. I Like the Analysis approach.

Welcome

Most of my research has related to various aspects of harmonic or functional analysis.

I wasn't expecting the Spanish Inquisition!

That's why I asked for a generic description. If I had the title of your thesis, I could potentially find out who you are, and that wasn't my intent. I'm genuinely interested, is all. I have a BSc in physics, and have taught math and physics in high school, between gigs in aerospace, which I worked in for ~26 years.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Cool, I can save it all up till the last day of the semester. The 1 cent deal is on.

I'll take it as a lump sum if you go more than 30 days.

No doubts. Dissertations are pretty easily searched. Mine was a while ago, though, which makes it trickier.
