“The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existence. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery each day."

I recently got myself a Spotify acc, even though the app is technically not available in India. Bit of tinkering around and I fooled it into thinking I'm based in US. Now for some heavy meta- who am I kidding. I'm pop trash mixed with a bit of Men At Work and Pink Martini. 'tever.
The word bed actually looks like a bed.

I like Spotify. I love their weekly list of things they curate based on your listening history. There's usually something, maybe several things, I can save to my stashNpot listening to music yet. Still way early. But Fazerdaze's "Lucky Girl" is stuck in my head.

My own music. Stuff I haven't uploaded to Soundcloud. Stuff I made myself.

I made a song that starts off with my own recording of Herbie Hancock's opening ARP synth bass riff to this:

I copied the notes and the rhythm into FL Studio's Piano roll and used the exact same ARP synth that Herbie Hancock used. But with my own effects and BPM and the rest of the song I wrote myself.

I recorded the notes and the rhythm at the BPM of the original song (95 BPM) but then I sped it up to 127... my favorite BPM. And a great BPM to sequence stuff in because 8 bars is exactly 15 seconds and 16 bars is exactly 30 seconds. And it also is the BPM of my favorite song ever! And a lot of my other favorite songs. I just love 127 BPM so much.

I often sequence stuff at that BPM and change the BPM for the song to a BPM I think the song sounds good in afterwards... although I often just leave it at 127 BPM too. Because it's my favorite.

Next I'm listening to this: https://firescoperecords.bandcamp.com/al...-you-fs009

Because it fucking rocks.
