I only do it because it's nice to be able to see trendlines as my caloric intake approaches my caloric requirements. Daily routine and discipline works well for me. I've just learned to not sweat short-term variance if I'm doing the right things.

Dude, I wish my motherfucking break even was that high! I don't lose a drop unless I eat 1400 or fewer calories. It's a bit disheartening.
Ah, yes, the dreaded constipation. I get so much fiber. Still, rabbit poop.

I'm certain you weigh a lot less and have a lot less to lose. You don't want to know what my break-even point is.

I don't know. I'd ideally like to lose upwards of 60 pounds to get back to my pre-psych meds/quitting smoking weight. In order to be a healthier weight, I only have to lose about 20. When I go off the meds, I have really bad anxiety and don't eat. I usually lose about 30 pounds when I'm having a bad bout of anxiety. I joke that I should just go off my meds. Tibs doesn't think it's funny. Haha

I'm less than ten pounds from my pre-surgical weight.
If I can lose another 90 after that, I could live with that. I'd like to make it 125-135 more though.
ETA - I think being overweight is preferable to anxiety of that degree, IME.

I bet you can do it.
When I'm anxious, I'd take being fat any day. When I'm fat, I still consider it better most of the time.

Well, I was on a great trajectory up until I busted up my knee but it became a lot more difficult to stay on track when I learned how messed up it was and how difficult the recovery was. I didn't want to risk further injury and eventually I lost desire to do it, and I'm still a bit anxious about getting back on my bike.
But yeah, I'm gonna do it, one way or another. When I can get on Kitty's insurance I will almost certainly qualify for gastric bypass. My insurance does not cover it under any circumstances.

It's tough when you hurt yourself. I've been hesitant to get back to regular yoga practice since I fucked up my back. I haven't done any weight-bearing on my wrist either because there seems to be an impinged nerve there. It makes it hard to stay active when your body disagrees. I'm sure you'll find something you can get into, though. I'd suggest water exercise, but it's hard to get access to a pool. I know that. I used to go run in the water at the pond up to my shoulders when my knee was acting up. The resistance made for a good workout while the buoyancy relieved the load on my knee.
I'm glad to hear you might have access to surgery. That shit can really change your life.
