@Shell There is a community center with a pool within walking distance of my house. I have been meaning to do that.
@TIA thanks, it's just a bump in the road.

In order to be a healthier weight, I only have to lose about 20. When I go off the meds, I have really bad anxiety and don't eat. I usually lose about 30 pounds when I'm having a bad bout of anxiety. I joke that I should just go off my meds. Tibs doesn't think it's funny. Haha
It's not funny at all. I promised to be off, but I had to say this. Your mental health comes before how you look for sure, and I would suggest not eating to little either, because your brain needs carbs.
One of the reasons I tricked myself I didn't need medications for a long time, it's just because I knew they cause wait gain. But you can fight off whatever challenges the medications give you with good mental health and get the body you want, but you cant' fight off the opposite of that with good looks or the body you want.
Don't even reduce the amount for the sake of wait loss. I once got super fat, and you guys encouragement helped me get back to shape.
I am on the maximum dosage of my anti-psychotics, and I know if I reduce it, it would be so easy to get those abs showing the way I want. But it's way too risky and for petty reasons if I let go of the trust of reason and health, then becoming sick is my fault, and I would have no one but myself to blame.
Oh, and as update I'm 7 pounds heavier, with reduced fat down to 11.5%.
Got to go.... Take care of yourself.

Thank you, MK. You're right, of course. Besides, with a face like this, who cares if I'm fat? (Just kidding, obviously)

I'm happy you've realized what is good for you. That's a healthy attitude to have.

That's what this is all about. I'm happy it's working for us.

Meh. We all wear shirts anyway. Abs don't matter.
I'll update as well. As of today, I'm down 12 pounds from my starting weight less than two months ago. I've had a few cheat days, but I'm still going pretty strong.

I weigh myself daily because of my OCD. I have to do it after the morning poo and before I eat breakfast so I can be "empty" and get the most accurate weight. Once I eat I start going into how much did I eat compared to yesterday, was it heavier than the food I ate yesterday, did I drink as much water.... it's not about getting the lowest number it's about having the same information straight across the board. I have a dry erase marker on the sink to write my weight on the mirror. Doing this for years now I do notice a difference day to day. Like before I left for my trip on Sunday I was so excited that I was below the 130 mark which hasn't happened in years. When I got back and weighed myself Tuesday it was 133 I was like how did I gain 5lbs that fast!! Today it was still 133 but to be 100% honest I'm having serious bloating issues after getting this IUD put in... sorry TMI. Hi I'm Mandy and I over share... lol

Presumably being on a trip means you ate more restaurant food than usual? Perhaps increased sodium intake?

I mean I did eat at a Mexican place while there but I do that at home cause ya know I live in Texas and that's all we seem to have lol and I had a sandwich for lunch but I'm starting to think I need to factor in when I breastfeed my daughter. I have this feeling that I got that 128 weight because I had just fed her and was empty. Then again I'm only producing 4-8 oz at a feeding so it couldn't have been that much of a factor. It was probably the sodium. I go out to get Mexican often but I also had drinks and ate corner store food more than usual.

Bloating's a bitch. I once lost about 5 pounds overnight because of my cycle.

I can say i lost another notch in my belt though. I think perhaps The look of The thing gives you more intell than actual numbers.
That is what has made the biggest impression on me as well. I had a fanny pack which I could just barely close two years ago. Now it is only barely snug enough to stay up when cinched as far as it will go, when I'm not wearing a coat. Suffice to say the men in my family put ever extra pound on their gut.

I haven't done any weight-bearing on my wrist either because there seems to be an impinged nerve there. It makes it hard to stay active when your body disagrees. I'm sure you'll find something you can get into, though. I'd suggest water exercise, but it's hard to get access to a pool. I know that. I used to go run in the water at the pond up to my shoulders when my knee was acting up. The resistance made for a good workout while the buoyancy relieved the load on my knee.
I'm glad to hear you might have access to surgery. That shit can really change your life.
Don't give up your yoga altogether. Your older self will thank you. Doing Pilates I discovered I couldn't do a plank with a flatten right hand. So I went to physical therapy. After two meetings he told me he didn't think it would be possible to get it back. I hate that. I have work arounds for all the positions I need but disappointing to give up on it.

I've lost three overnight just from having to get up and pee 3-4 times.
Back in 2016 I put on nearly ten pounds in 3 days. Obviously retained water, I was eating 1000-1500 calories under breakeven.
It seems counter-intuitive to drink water to get rid of water, nontheless.....

I am developing a real big thing for curries. I have no idea if they're good or bad for weight loss/gain
