Quote:"Crank" is a pejorative term used for a person who holds an unshakable belief that most of his or her contemporaries consider to be false. A crank belief is so wildly at variance with those commonly held as to be considered ludicrous. Cranks characteristically dismiss all evidence or arguments which contradict their own unconventional beliefs, making any rational debate a futile task and rendering them impervious to facts, evidence, and rational inference.

Quote:Survival only or involve also the need to reach some goal in life?Evolution isn't goal oriented. It's not even about any individual organisms survival. Quote:3) Are individual who are not able to survive lost for ever or will pop up in a different environment most suitable to their capabilities to survive?Seen any graveyards emptying themselves out recently? Quote:4) Did Darwin and other really studied other possibilities other than whether evolution is driven only by survival?Darwin wasn't studying evolution at all, and wouldn't come to that conclusion for years. He got a berth as a 22 year old naturalist in 1831 and wouldn't write Origin until 1859. When he set foot in the galapagos is was he literal creationist on a geological survey aboard HMS Beagle. Shitty sailor, excellent field work. He only spent 18 months at sea on a five year voyage. When he did finally formulate his views he very carefully preceded them with artificial selection, the "other possibility" in that case being the intentional machinations of a creative being. In his example, us. He was unaware of the genetic mechanism that now largely defines evolution...but his basic understanding of heredity (he was not familiar with mendel) allowed him to posit an explanation for the geographic dispersion of species. This, not evolution, was what he was studying. He discovered natural selection in the process. Quote:5) Can a plant evolve into an animal,No. Quote:an animal into a humanYou are an animal, no further evolution required. Quote:or plant stay plant,Plants will always be plants. You can't change who or whatyour parents were, that ship has sailed.....lol. Quote:animal stay animal and human stay human?Redundant, and same as the above. Quote:6) If evolution exist is because there is a goal to reach or is all about random chances?Neither. See above. Quote:7) Does evolution act like the gear of a vehicle that increase his speed as it change the gear?Do you want to talk cars or biology?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
LR still doesn't get that evolution occurs in populations, not individuals.
That is quite bizarre.
Atheists are very quick to say..........THE BURDEN Of PROOF IS WITH THE ONE WHO MAKE THE CLAIM.........blah, blah, blah........... yet I have to read claims after claims from atheists that come without a drop of evidence as these below. 1) Evolution is directionless. 2) Individual who are not able to survive are lost for ever. 3) Evolution has no goal. 4) Evolution has no set speed. 5) Plant stay plant animal stay animal human stay human. 6) Evolution is based on organic chemistry. 7) Evolution is driven by inherited genetic material, mutation, and relative rates of reproduction both between and within a species. 8) You are an animal, no further evolution required. These are atheists claims that turn into dogmas as no evidence back such a claims. I on the other hand did not claimed anything so I do not require to back up any claim or prove anything. All I did was to try to engage in a conversation that may better understand how evolution works. One of you stupidly said that scientists already know everything about evolution so that's it. End of the story. What a BS guys. All scientists did so far was to scratch the surface and that only involve the physical aspect. Nothing about the non physical one. Scientists so far never bother to see whether changes are due to a desire to evolve or just random changes. All you guys did was to make a fool of yourself by making unproven claims and believing that what has got to be found has already been found.

There is abundant evidence for evolution LR; you just haven't got a clue what evolution actually is. If how we evolve was indeed down to desire, why don't all men have a ten inch willy like mine? (February 26, 2018 at 10:09 am)Little Rik Wrote: That is quite bizarre. Hi. I'm not a regular here (I'm irregular) so we haven't chatted before, I don't know you, so please forgive me if I am making an incorrect assumption that you are younger than you are. I make this assumption of youth based on your mastery of English. So I wonder, if you are still of school age, do you do your own homework or do you get other people to do it for you? The PURPOSE of life is to replicate our DNA ................. (from Darwin)
The MEANING of life is the experience of living ... (from Frank Herbert) The VALUE of life is the legacy we leave behind ..... (from observation) (February 26, 2018 at 10:05 am)JackRussell Wrote: LR still doesn't get that evolution occurs in populations, not individuals. One more fool claim. Suppose you got 3 kids. One is 17 years old so he-she would end up in year 12. The other is 15 years old so he-she would be in year 10. The last is only 10 years old so he-she would be in a lower grade. Now suppose you are God and you have to sort out in which planet or in which body an individual should end up in order to evolve. If a group of individuals are very intelligent they may end up in a planet where technology is at his peak while other individual who are less intelligent may end up on planet earth. Other individual which are just evolving from apes may instead end up in a planet similar to our planet a million years ago. Of course if these individual evolve more they may end up in a more evolved planet or dimension while individual who fail is most likely that they will end up as apes or animals or plants. This of course is my understanding of how evolution works because it make sense. If you have a better understanding let me know. In the mean time keep your kids in those particular grades because it make sense that they are there. If you think it doesn't then put your 17 years old in the kindergarten and your young one at the uni. I guess you never thought about that Jack, did you?
Like I said, not one fucking iota of a clue.
Bored now, more sense from my cats than LR. (February 26, 2018 at 10:34 am)DLJ Wrote:(February 26, 2018 at 10:09 am)Little Rik Wrote: That is quite bizarre. English is not my mother language that is why my English is not that good. In other words your assumption is incorrect. If you also put me down on the bases that what I did write is wrong without coming with a counter claim that make sense then you fail twice. |
