My radiation burns

My chest wall.  The dashed line is the area they're treating with my "boost" doses which just means the treatment is a little different.  I hardly had any reaction on my upper chest/shoulder/neck area, it's just the slightest bit red.

This is my worst area.  It's a little rashy and itches like a mo fo.  The saran wrap looking stuff is hydrogel that's meant to be soothing.

I have three more treatments of the thirty I was prescribed so I'll be done on Tuesday.

And it feels about as good as it looks. The armpit is really itchy and sore and my shoulder is pretty stiff. I slept on the bad side last night (I was having hip pain on the other side) and it was a little difficult to find a comfortable position that didn't pull.

This is the last step. After this I go into survivorship appointments every few months and try to go back to normal life. I'm not ready for that yet. My parents went away for the weekend last weekend and I did not handle it well. I need to be in a mental and emotional place to be able to be comfortably alone again and I'm not there.

I hope that you'll soon recover quickly.. and soon everyone will see this beautiful face but smiling and happy !!!
I know that it is not easy, in my family every second woman went through this...and I'm also waiting for verdict and i'm very afraid... but also know that a good word and mental support is very necessary so you can always count on me even though i'm thousands of kilometers away from you..I'm always here for you!!!
