Cool, I am glad that you are studying physics.
Maybe you'll be the one that will let the world know that there is life beyond our world. Since all the governments aren't telling us.

Cosmos series with Carl Sagan! It makes you think, question, and understand. It sure got me thinking as well, and I think it applies to outside of religion as well, just everyday thinking.

Do I think there is a conspiracy to keep the public from information regarding knowledge of extraterrestrials? It's possible, but not conclusive, much like the alleged extraterrestrials themselves.

You'd be stretching the word possible. Delivering mail-not so hot. Overarching conspiracy to control the flow of information regarding aliens on a global scale- nailed that one (except that for some reason, people seem to "know" about them anyway)
