I'm glad to hear that. Now I can go back to beating my slaves with a clear conscience.

It sounded good until that final suggestion.

I agree, but much to often Christians on this forum are judged against the wrong doings of Christians in the past, even over a thousand years in the past, even though we were not alive and had no say in those actions. All peoples make mistakes and those mistakes that are in the past that current people do not hold as right should not be held against them, yet the atheist here are very bad in that kind of action. As God will do, individuals should be judged on their own actions and beliefs. With God it will be a judgement against His standard and with man we judge by human standards, that are mostly inconsistent over time and age. God's nature has never changed so everyone can know what they are facing.

I guess to someone who is wrong all the time, the precise reason given for why he is wrong each time can all seem to blur into one.

I didn't read through all the posts so my apologies if I repeat was has already been said:
A two-way discussion will almost always be superior to a monologue. Not that Christianity is the only alternative to atheism (far from it). It's always beneficial to hear from all sides. In the United States and most European countries, Christianity remains an important world-view so it is beneficial to contrast atheism to that world-view.
It's unfortunate (and to the detriment of us both) that that discussion doesn't more often occur in a more mutually respectful tone but we are what we are. Still, difficult discussion is better than no discussion.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Just to clarify for everyone's benefit, God doesn't judge, Jesus does.
John 5 (KJV)
22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
Don't want to see anyone lose any valuable Salvation points.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

John 5 (KJV)
22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:
Don't want to see anyone lose any valuable Salvation points. Yes. There's the Judgement Seat Of Christ but God will judge the dead at the second ressurection after the thousand year reign of Christ on Earth at the Great White Throne Judgement...
Revelation 20:11-15 King James Version (KJV)
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Nice explanation there based upon your take on the Trinity, however, Jesus clearly doesn't share it. That is a VERY potent quote from Jesus. I'm feeling less alone in my confusion over the Trinity since either most all Christians are confused about it too, or Jesus is.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
