How much money did it cost to enable the fantasies of this mother and who paid for it?  Yes it is a tragic situation and points out the fact that there are risks in all surgeries but that doesn't change the fact that they kept this body on machines for 5 years and pretended she was "alive."

I take issue with the headline.  Someone who is dead cannot die again.
