Why halal meat???

2. See context by reflecting over surrounding verses.
3. See context by reflecting over that with the chapter.
4. See context by reflecting that with Quran.
5. Integrate it with the message of Quran and then the place of halal meat that in Shariah explained in Quran and it's wisdom therein (or if you don't believe it's wisdom, at least, find out what it claims is it's wisdom).

4. The animals which are called insects which live under the earth such as rat, muskrat, bandicoot, mongoose, etc. are all prohibited.

The animals, among whose parents, one is permissible and the other is prohibited in such cases the mother will be counted (The mule is prohibited when his mother is a she-ass and if the mother is a cow it is lawful and if the mother is mare it is abhorrent.). If the mother is prohibited the kid is also prohibited.

I did not know you could get a mule from a cow!  Wow, breeding in the middle east must be a thing to behold. 



I also noted that things are permitted if the person believes they belong in a permitted group. (So is abhorrent permitted? Just frowned upon?)

Also, if you are hungry and need to eat some crow, make sure it is the kind that eats corn as well as the dead, otherwise, to hell you will go!
