I don't really consider it a peaceful gathering, when people are wearing masks, and carrying pipes.  This is an interesting characterization of anifta that doesn't seem to fit the facts.

It says nothing about the right being oppressed. It says that the left is violent. There's a difference.

Let's be realistic. "The Left" isn't violent. "The Right" isn't violent. Various groups which describe themselves as "left-wing" and "right-wing" are violent. Violence is a human trait, you can find it in almost any group, be it religious, political, social, etc.

If your point is that being a member of the left means you are violent, then you need to offer actual evidence of that, because there are millions of people on the left who abhor violence. Likewise on the right.

Corey Booker saying, "You need to get up in your congressman's face" was obviously meant to mean that constituents need to make their political desires known to their representatives in a proactive and explicit way. Do you think Booker meant that literally?
