How about if everyone on this forum stops giving this Christian clown the attention he seeks. The guy obviously has no life. Everyone can tell Christianity isn't really important to him, because he spends his time on a website trolling atheists. What a total loser.

Almost everything (if not everything) that was said in the OP video was taken out of context. Corey Booker saying, "You need to get up in your congressman's face" was obviously meant to mean that constituents need to make their political desires known to their representatives in a proactive and explicit way. Do you think Booker meant that literally?

Talk to some of the forum users who live in France or Spain. We Americans tend to sit on our fat asses, expecting politicians to solve our problems, whilst Europeans often take a more proactive approach. They demand a better government. And (for the most post) I think Europe has left us in the dust as far as social infrastructure goes. We have a bloated, inefficient welfare state, while they have a robust social system that meet the needs of many of their citizens. They get better results because they demand better results.

All the OP video is doing is fear mongering. I think it's good that people are assembling with the purpose to affect the bureaucratic process.

There is a lot of trade offs though for the European system. For example the American unemployment rate is 3 or 4% right now. France is 9% and Spain is 16%. So that welfare state of theirs comes at a price. I literally found a job the first day I was looking in the US twice this year. Also Spain has a large part of Spain that doesn't even want to be part of the country anymore.

American's might not protest the same as Europeans (Alphamale has no idea what an unruly mob actually looks like.) because we don't really have that many problems. If our unemployment rate goes to 16%, you are going to see some social unrest here.

I'm basically in favor of most protests or riots, irregardless of what they are protesting. I like a little chaos, I think it's healthy for our leaders to be a little nervous, no matter the political party.

We should protest that which we do not agree with. Definitely. But I believe that all sides need to do so peacefully and not violently because a lot of the times, innocent bystanders get hurt for simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Sure. There are some trade-offs. But (going by conversations I've had, articles I've read) Europe's social infrastructure is more geared towards helping the average person out, whilst the American welfare state focuses on the "most needy."

I've have friends/family who were dependent on social assistance and wanted to work, but they dare not get a job, lest their benefits be revoked. In Europe, those benefits are extended even to those who work full time. Wouldn't ya know it, sometimes those people need a little help too...

Antifa is all bark and no bite, really. They destroy property (ie smash store windows and stuff) with their pipes. Anarchists have been doing this shit since the eighties. There is occasional violence from Antifa, but mostly they are playing dress up. I wouldn't really take them seriously at all, but I'm glad they're around because it's hilarious to see conservatives' reactions to them. They're a group of kids wanting to make it seem like they can bring down the entire Western socio-economic bloc... and you guys just eat it up. I think you really do see your beloved society crumbling before a bunch of twenty-something kids with bandana-clad faces. Lol.

Actually I agree. I'm not personally concerned about them, or about talk of uprisings or civil war. Conservatives have a lot more guns, so if it ever really comes to violence, it won't go well for the left. But, mobs don't play well to the middle. I can't speak for the right as a whole, but I eat it up out of strategy, not fear.
