Heard plenty of stories over the years in the news of even gun shops being robbed by gunpoint, and other stories of people robbing a person with a gun and taking the person's gun. Guns dont do shit in an ambush. Not to mention you risk more injury by attempting to use a gun in an armed conflict than you would by complying with someone trying to rob you. It is a fucking myth that more guns makes us safer. 

And yet an innocent person with a legal permit gets shot by security in a mall, even if you don't think that was racist, it still remains because he was armed the security couldn't tell him from the real bad guy. Same shit slowed down police in the Dallas shooting where 5 cops were murdered.

The second amendment doesn't give you the right to walk around with a gun.  It gives you the right to own one, and to use it, even these are contextualized within proscribed limits.

Every state, and every city, and every building within the city... is empowered to tell you to leave your gun at home.

I really hate this 2nd Amendment argument. That is a dodge the NRA has used for 40 years. Nobody is in denial that it exists. And since there is no political party oath to own a firearm, that means, GASP...... Even democrats own them! 

I wish gun safety advocates would stop letting them sell that fallacy of equivocation and trap. The real issue has always been MONEY in industry profits. Much like big oil drug it's feet trying to keep lead in gas. Much like it still does not want to face global warming. 

If the worshipers want to be asshole originalists we can go that route and only allow muskets. Otherwise laws have to change with changing technology.

That's not actually your right.  You're referring to a carry privilege, which is more or less well regulated depending on the state you live.  Subject in all cases to license and/or ordinance.

It is the same utopia bullshit with taxes. There is no such thing in a civil society with "no rules". If guns were a free for all like they dream of, then firearms should be allowed on passenger jets and in the Capital building. Funny that, but they rightfully are not allowed.
