Near death experience is just the same as experience (we are all near death, just some are nearer than others)
Show me a post death experience and I may get interested.

If I have an afterlife, I'll deal with it when I get there.

All the stories about having to believe this or that, or behave this or that way, are all made up as far as I can tell. People paint monsters along the edges of the map.
