RE: When America will come back for the rest of the middle east

Oh come on.... NATO has flow over 9500 strikes on Lybia. Why can't we leave people the fuck alone, oh wait cause we are the fuck out of oil and need to secure some reserves for the future, cause we sucked USA dry as fast as possible, you can't have all this growth with a finite resource, so now we are "stealing" it under the guise of freedom lol. Freedom fries anyone? Or "human rights violations".
Abu prison anyone? Who gives us a tap on the hand when we do bad things? Oh wait we can just use contractors.
Why do you think Bush called Hugo a dictator, cause he was nationalizing his oil, if any country does not sell a ton of oil to west it is the enemy. We get 0 oil from Iran, and we HATE them. We get tons from Saudi, and they don't let women drive cars, but we oh so love them those good human rights followers ah yes.
Give me a break... its about oil, always has been always will be.
After what I have seen my country do, the US, I don't doubt anything they could be capable of.
And I do realize the problems this country will face without its precious oil, it will not be pretty, but the time will come and that is a fact. Lets just face the damn music and stop killing people.

Lybia is a mostly french and british endeavour, it's too close to europe for comfort like Iran or Saudi arabia

America has all the water it needs..the middle east only has oil and no water... Well, it's true for Iraq, maybe, but not for Turkey(there are no deserts in Turkey, so why should we worry about water shortages?), and certainy not for the other "middle eastern" countries except for those who live in the deeper parts of the arabian peninsula. The rest do not need to import water whatsoever.
Besides, why are those damn rivers so important? We do not get our water from those rivers, we have enough water resources and rainfall.
I seriously think that you're talking out of your arse. The most barren lands in Turkey are the same lands from which those two rivers flow.

As an engineer, I make a lot of assumptions when it comes to things.
But here, I'm talking with facts. I certainly do not think that Syria is somewhat of a regional military power in the middle east, because it's not.
IF it were, the Golan heights would still be under Syrian control.

Turkey is a place that is in abundance of underground water resources, rivers and rainfall.
We also have places where it is really cold, and snows throughout the year. If you think that we're some desert country that takes camel rides(even though we have camels here, they're only in usage by the local yörük nomads) to work, then you're wrong.

READ them!! In the 'Middle East' including Turkey, it is all about water!! I recall Iraq and Iran ready to go to war with Turkey over The Ataturk Dam, and NO you don't have abundance of water. INDIA has abundance of water, Bangladesh has abundance of water ...
Turkey?? I don't think so You have a very small country and SO MANY DAMS!!!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_dams_in_Turkey
Why?
Quote:About 90% of Euphrates' total annual flow originates in Turkey, while the remaining part is added in Syria, but nothing is contributed further downstream in Iraq. In general, the stream varies greatly in its flow from season to season and year to year. As an example, the annual flow at the border with Syria ranged from 15.3 km3 (3.7 cu mi) in 1961 to 42.7 km3 (10.2 cu mi) in 1963.

Well, since we have enough water to fill those dams, I'd say that we don't have any water shortages to speak of.

Chemistry.
Quote:built on the Euphrates and Tigris rivers in the 1980s and '90s in order to provide irrigation water and hydroelectricity to arid southeastern Turkey.
Obviously, it's built on the most arid parts of Turkey. The rest of the country does not need the water from any of those rivers.

Clearly mehmet you are not qualified to comment on water storage or acquisition.
Turkey has learned well from the USA and UK ..and is now the parasite of the Middle East..
Just how full ARE those dams??
Very clever of Turkey to hoard water whilst the rest of the Middle East is selling it's future resources in oil just to pay Turkey for water?...good one
Well done !

Acquisition? You clearly are not on your right mind.

You talk trash. We aren't really snatching anything from the arabs. Not that we want anything from them anyways, as an old Turkish saying goes, "Neither the candy of Sham(Damascus) nor the face of the arab."

Full enough to drown a billion armenians.

Have you ever considered a career in hate speech?
