Atheism is simply a lack of belief in a god or divine creator. Atheists, however, can fall anywhere on the spectrum; some people are very accepting of any and all faiths and others denounce religion entirely and think that no one should be religious. I tend to fall more toward the latter, but at the end of the day have no real issue with someone practicing a particular faith in private.
If you're frightened of dying, and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the Earth.

My point is.. if imposition of thought doesn't happen peace is bound to come and conflicts happen when there is no acceptance. majority of people here are accepting in nature as per comments i read. Live and let live is a great policy until you encounter someone who is trying to kill you.
I don't accept it when people murder other people. I use the word murder instead of the word kill, because I can accept it when someone kills another person, provided that person is deserving of death. I do not accept it when a religion encourages good people to commit atrocities. There are things that religions do that I can't accept. We have secular laws to help protect us from those who believe that they speak on behalf of a god. It's very hard to be accepting of practice that preys upon children and poisons the minds of adults.
