Well, they actually are, but this was more mundane: got the splint off my left hand on Friday, and the finger needs some physical therapy.

This week in the Deep Hurting Project: The Devil Inside. And honestly, while I haven't actually seen it before, I have seen the Bad Movie Beatdown review of this movie... and I have to admit that this is the one I've been legitimately dreading more than any of the other films in the Project because, on some level, a movie where we have a woman throwing her menstrual blood and ends by -- The facts surrounding the Rossi case remain unresolved. Visit therossifiles.com for more information on the ongoing investigation. Seriously, it sets up a massive exorcism, ends it with a sudden car crash and has that horseshit title card in lieu of any actual resolution. This telegraphs an utter contempt for the audience that I legitimately think I don't think I've seen in any of the other films in the Project. The only possible rival in this area is the one film I explicitly rejected for the project for reasons not related to availability at my local library.
Also, since I'll be in Wisconsin for the next two weeks, I won't have access to that local library. Fortunately, however, there are two films in my collection that I actually had enough interest in that I own DVD copies and I'll be bringing them up: Battlefield Earth, and Bratz. And, by an extraordinary coincidence, the next two weeks would be Sci-Fi and Youth films, and lo and behold, they fit snugly within those two categories.

Bought some alphabetti spaghetti. Trying to spell my name using a piece of toast as my paper. Why is there no letter H?
H is probably hard to cut out, I haven't seen a Q either.

The Irish bar bit?
It would only be Irish cultural appropriation if he’d fallen over drunk shouting, “Diddly-dee, potatoes!”

Well, leaning on a bar, wall, table, or between a pair of cops so you don’t fall to the floor hardly counts as standing...

We had a saying in the Navy, when some guy got drunk really easily, "One to drink, one to spill, and one for the Shore Patrol", because by the third drink, everyone is his friend, and he doesn't realize they are there to take him back to the ship or barracks before he gets hurt.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
