They're both very intelligent guys and are super interesting to listen to. I'm getting ready for the Fourth, going to get away from the family today and go to a friend's party instead and holy shit does that feel liberating.
If you're frightened of dying, and you're holding on, you'll see devils tearing your life away. But if you've made your peace, then the devils are really angels, freeing you from the Earth.
Honeymoon part 3 of 4 in Victoria BC Canada. I'm looking out the 11th floor balcony of our hotel room at the BC provincial Parliament, the BC Royal Museum, the bay, and the Empress hotel. I can see the United States across the Strait of Juan de Fuca in the distance. My lovely wife is napping. We're switching to another nice place shortly. Life is good.
Watching CNN coverage of the 6.4 earthquake that struck SoCal about an hour ago.
We live about 150 miles from there. It was a bit of a roller for us. Some hanging items swung a little. No biggee, like the one in Northridge, which we lived about 6 miles from at the time. We're overdue for some shakes, so that's not unexpected. Never enjoyed, though.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Weird how you're so calm, I'd shit myself if that ever happened near me. Then again it's what you get used to I suppose. The first fairly big quake I experienced after moving to NZ freaked me out. I’ve now been through the Christchurch and Kaikoura quakes, so I don’t freak out anymore. They’re just something you get used to
Dying to live, living to die.

Shook for a moment, disrupted my travel, broke a city.

Watching Nathans dog contest. Kinda gross.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.
