Updating my new post pointers. I've got 200 pages in a book to read by Sunday, so that's what I'll be spending the balance of the morning doing. And I spend 2-1/2 hours busing to and from a plasma donation clinic tonight, when I hope to get more reading done. I don't have a good handle on how fast I read, but the book has plenty of pictures, a large font, and plenty of white space, so six hours should do it. And tomorrow after donating plasma, I'll transfer the money from the debit card they use to pay me for my donations to my checking account and order a cell phone from Walmart. They have a promotion involving a $50 gift card when you buy a Walmart Family Mobile phone and phone plan card. I probably won't use them for phone service, but will simply use the phone as a cheap Android device that has WiFi and I can take to the gym with me. After the gift card, the cost will be $42.

Finishing the bulk of the packing for the trip up to Door County. In about half an hour, Dad and I will be heading off for restorative yoga (which I'm fairly certain he will need for the drive up). And in about 24 hours, we'll be up in Door County, I'll be lying on the bed, and we'll be preparing for the regular First Dinner Up at Al Johnson's.

Took the old bomb out for its last spin before changing over the cylinder heads to the new shiny hitech alloy ones.
But I won't start that for a week. About to turn off the pc for a full upgrade! It'll take about a week. Too much custom water cooling shit on it...

Cannot wait.

Fuck I love retirement.... I've already done that much around the house in the 2 weeks I've been home. Much more to do but it's freezing here in Melbourne.
It's not ideal to do painting and tiling when it's 11 degrees max today.

PS, I've repainted the 3 car garage floor about 3 times in the 15 years since we built the house. Sick of the hot tyres unsticking the paint.
Watched a lot of youtube vids, was going to prepare and repaint in 2 pack but even that comes off after 30 days for people. (And one guy acid etched twice to make sure!)
So after the car and the pc, I'm laying some nice click together low profile pvc solid tiles acros the whole floor. Only problem is I can only get the ones I like from NSW so there's another 200 bucks delivery on top ... so be it ...

Self medicating.  

Almost 27 years to the day aftetr the physical abusr began, I have cut my physically, emotionally, and verbally abusive bully of a gaslighting ex-wife out of my life.  She doesn't know where I live, I blocked her on all forms of communication - she has only an emergency contact through a third party in the event that there's a hair-on-fire emergency between now and when our son turns 18 in March.

She's threatened to get a judge to compel me to unblock her but she won't get it, and if she does, I'm going to stonewall it until it's moot.

Well, I started work at eight this morning and finished at 6.30pm.
I went straight home and picked up my daughter and we went and saw a three hour musical. 'Narnia'.

I glad my kid liked it cause I was bored out of my brain and I always feel really uncomfortable around those rich, fake fucks who seem to congregate at these places.
Normally I just walk out of places I don't feel comfortable in, but it's amazing how I seem to be able to endure things for her.

Babysitting again... There is a gang of women in the garden drinking Prosecco and eating flat bread. I'm going to watch Jurassic Park with my nephew.
I've got to give two of the flat bread women a lift home later, I hope they're not drunk and loud.
