Here is the same. As soon as the church rats come out they start talking bad about others, even after the priest delivered a lovey dobey jesus cherry picked message.

Most people just pay lip service. Ya know, for the appearances.

Like I've said before, most people are religious about one hour a week.

Been a while, but at mass whenever the lords prayer come up, it seemed eternity was about to end. Some people repeatedly made a sign on the face ending with a cross on their chest. I could never get those weird rituals right. I am good at the job rituals, those I understand and always finding the way to improve them. Its my job, or as my coworkers say "yes chief". To my understanding a "chief" is the head of a tribe. I suppose it is the truth.

Churches services..are entertainment.  They've never been anything other than entertainment.  People get worked up at the money they collect, insist that this is some other thing they are (and have always been) but it's the same thing.  We pay to watch people dress up in costumes and tell stories that we can easily digest and just as easily discard.  This is the religious economy, it's older than money, and every single human being who's ever witnessed it would recognize it in any time and any iteration.

None of those people turn into anything when they leave a church.  They were exactly those people while they were inside of one.

Church services would be more entertaining if the brought back the lions...

That's one reason Rome fell - the lions were eating into the prophets.

I'll see myself out...

While Shepherds washed their socks by night,
All seated round the tub,
The Angel of the the Lord came down,
And gave their socks a scrub.

And when their socks were squeaky clean,
And sparkling like a gem,
The Sheppard's put them on again,
And walked to Bethlehem.

And when they got to Bethlehem,
All looking nice and neat,
The Christ child said you've got nice socks,
But next time wash your feet.

Christians and their "logic"
Video:

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Unless you are dead and typing it is the kind of thing you can't ever say you "were".
