Conversions from Covid-19

RE: Conversions from Covid-19
I doubt the holy water/oil/whatever being sold as protective against CVD-19 will help much when it comes to attracting new converts. It's one thing to sell holy snake oil for rheumatism, another to try to sell it as effective against a pandemic.
I'm not anti-Christian. I'm anti-stupid.

People will flock to churches and megachurches if they are converted into provisional hospitals, but what are the chances of that happening? Churches and megachurches are places for making money and not to help people.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

In Italy the churches are being used as temporary morgues to allow the crematoria to catch up with the backlog.

Wait! God was a stormtrooper?
Remember what Leia said, "They let us go!" The stormtroopers were supposed to miss.

@Jehanne no point, just a statement of fact. The conclusions everyone draws is all their own. Dennys and Waffle house were also open.

Convenient that the "[b], but[//b] let your trust in Christ be stronger, and rejoice in Christ who is the victor over sin, death, and the world." seems to always be left out with cherry pickers.
"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post
