RE: Organic chemistry
Well, it's all good until you get to the analytic chemistry lab.
And then you simply loathe to go to a lab ever again.

It's too damn annoying.
Really, easily the most annoying lab I've ever had.
Titrations, titrations, titrations.
You miss the endpoint, you start over.

The physics equivalent of titration is prepping for holography lab -- align the laser, check for data, go to 'align laser'...

I really like chemistry and think it's quite interesting. If I was going to go into a scientific field it definitely would be in physics, and most likely astrophysics. Unfortunately for practicality's sake, I went into computer programming which I also liked.

Are you getting a degree in organic chemistry? If so, kudos, because every chemist I have ever talked to say it's the hardest subset of chemistry.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

Nope. I'm actually a chemical engineer, however I know organic chemistry aswell, not as much as a chemistry major, however.
