Or are you standing back and standing by?
Drich seems to aspires to be a sort of Fotios Gaes of the racist part of the white Evangelical movement. Not that he can, but he seems really want to.
Just as Freddy aspires to nothing else than to be ultimate loyal enforcer Of the Italian Mafia, even-though not being Italian, he could never be a made man in the Italian mafia, So Drich Seems to aspire to nothing else than to be ultimate soldier for the racist part of the white Evangelical movement, even-though not being white back 5 generations, his position might become precarious should his movement get its way.

What a fucking embarassment. Anyone with half a brain can see that he did fucking terrible.
I am not up for giving that network credit, but everyone knows why Sheppard Smith left. I don't know why Chris still works for them, but something has changed. I have never seen anyone on that network admonish Trump to his face that much in one setting.
I don't think Chris threw him softballs. I think Chris is old school and values journalism despite the network he works for.

He did a pretty shitty job at moderating, IMO. He seems to at least be bipartisan.

At Fox News they have a zoo where they keep real journalists. This allows other “personalities” at fox to regularly pretend there is some nod to biodiversity in their ecosphere, when asked.

No doubt. They "work" there, but aren't part of the clique.

What?
I think he did way better than most. I was expecting him to side with the orange turd 99% of the time, and he did the opposite.
He even said, when the orange petulant fuckface brat said "He(Joe) interrupts too"..... Chris said basically nowhere as near as what he was.

The reality is Trump came across as a schoolyard bully and unpresedential. These networks hosting these debates need to grow a sack and start cutting mics. Or are they too scared of Trumpies getting mad at them? Also they need to do fact checks during the debate. Kind of like how the hosts on CSPAN do with callers.
That's not true, it's a comfortable lie that the american left tells themselves about the american right. In reality, they know that he's using them just as well as he knows that they are using him. They don't really live in an alternative reality making up what they see - they like what they see as-is, and all of the junk you bicker with them about is them flat out trolling you. They know that too, they pride themselves on it.
They're not actually crazy, they're not delusional...they're something else, something worse, something that we refuse to name. We'd rather believe that they were crazy, as americans and as their family,...because that would be better...than accepting them for what they are.
Reminds me of Bill Maher's new rules called Change Anxiety. Trump supporters like Trump because he reaffirms their irrational beliefs that often have severe racial undertones. He is the last gasp of this idea of a 1950s America in which minorities were told to shut up about their "rights" just so the white man can live comfortably. Because whenever a group like BLM protests, that makes these people uncomfortable. Because it is a reminder that we aren't this perfect nation they like to think we are.

As a non-American outsider, I thought the debate was extremely entertaining. I was laughing all throughout. It was a lot more entertaining than the Clinton-Trump debates. I don't know if Trump helped himself much, but he brought the entertainment. Don't know if Biden helped himself much either as he mostly looked like a deer in the headlights and wasn't nearly aggressive enough. Trump did a good job exposing Biden's massive corruption concerning his crackhead son etc, but misrepresented a bunch of Biden's positions like when he was talking about the Green New Deal.
The Proud Boy problem seems to be way overhyped too. Yeah, they've beaten up some people that throw piss at them or whatever, but as far as I know they're not going around burning down businesses, trying to burn down courthouses, dragging people out of their cars and beating them, shooting and killing random supporters of certain politicians in the street for no reason, or shooting cops.

But..but...but...
Protesters are the good guys and therefore everything they do is "good". So when they burn down your house, vehicle or place of business - just remember - it's for the greater good.....
