No believe me , me and the sock are not even speaking about the same religion.

Quote:I don't know who lied to you and told you can't understand the Quran; there are so many websites that provide various translations in many languages, the best are:
quran.com
quran.ksu.edu.sa
Every verse is translated.
Please note that Muslims are more than 1.8 billion people from allover the world, and most are not even Arabs.
Just like I learned English, you can read the Quran.
Just like a Turk reads the Quran and understand it; so do you. Especially if it's already translated verse by verse in your native language.
But ignore any Hadith because these things are Arab myths; not Islamic facts.
Why do you lie and keep acting a fool?
Go learn how to read the Quran, it's not hard (like Klorophil/Mystic Knight) is saying.
Did the OP burn you that much ?
That being said, discuss the OP, or out of the OP (and take Klorophil/MysticKnight with you)

Truths aren't supposed to be easy to get, especially for people who are arrogant enough to attempt interpretations of texts they don't understand at all.
You don't understand your own babble, as you contradict yourself time after time. "Brought together" is your playmate's and your own interpretation. "Brought together" in no way describes the expansion of the sun around it's own center to engulf the moon, because the center point of neither move. Your sacred book is the work of an ignorant idiot, and there is nothing you can do the show otherwise.
If you read the comments well, you'd know I am not the one pretending there is miraculous foreknowledge in these verses, they're certainly describing what happens in the Judgement Day though. So for someone to come and accuse the Qur'an of ignoring the meaning of a solar eclipse .... this is an outright strawman.
If the book were truly the work of an ignorant, you'd have no trouble finding dozens of clear, straightforward factual mistakes. But you and I know there is no such thing.

Magic book is riddled with errors common to the seventh century. This wouldn't be a problem for a god unless you insist on making it one.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Muslims are fond of using extreme poetic license when interpreting Quranic scripture. It's the only way they can convince themselves that the book makes the kind of sense they want to see in the world.

The Qur'an is meant to be a rhetorical challenge. That's how it impressed Arab tribes back then and established its superiority.

No. Not errors, only descriptions that a seventh century nomad can relate to.

-ever has it been thus, lol. One of the weaknesses of a religion with a static holy text is that, inevitably, the world leaves the magic book behind. Outside of any options for progressive revelation, the faithful turn to progressive revisionism.

In that case, no subjective interpretation can be taken seriously.

Right, and you just told us that you weren't claiming the magic book had miraculous foreknowledge in the same breath as telling us it was describing what would happen on judgement day.
I'm certain that you can tie yourself into whatever knot would be required to maintain your beliefs. Your word selection betrays you. You already knew there were errors in your magic book, you just think they had some relatability purpose.
Maybe the fact that magic book is full of relatable errors to a seventh century nomad is why it's a hot pile of garbage for me, and for the 21st?
