The Tudors finally grabbed my interest. I enjoyed it. So I moved forward a bit in time and am midway through The Crown.
I like to watch music documentaries and concerts but none of the streaming services seem to be adding any of interest. Will be searching for another series soon...
Just finished re-watching Cadfael, which I hadn’t seen since its original run in the mid-late 90s.
Taking place in the mid 12th century against a backdrop of the civil war between King Stephen and Empress Maud, the story centres on Brother Cadfael, an herbalist/physician Benedictine monk with a gift for solving murders. Derek Jacobi is absolutely terrific in the title role (no surprise there). If you like historical drama and/or mysteries, give this one a look. Boru

I'm guessing I'm not the only one who watches TV shows (or TV series, as some people call it), so I'm thinking this topic could be a place to exchange TV show titles. Those of us who prefer TV shows to movies might find their next TV show to watch.
So... what TV show are you watching RN? Atm I'm having my double dose of "Supergirl". I watched all of the 5 seasons in a few days but that wasn't enough, so I started it again from the beginning. I just can't get enough of that cutie Melissa Benoist, so I started watching "Supergirl" all over again, while waiting for "Wynonna Earp" to resume and for "Star Trek Discovery" to release it season 3 finale.
Retired and Covid. Until 2020 I haven't had the time.
Modern Family Parks and Rec Killing Eve 30 Rock ER NYPD Blue Scoprion 48 Hours Grays Anatomy CSI There are many more.

Warrior on HBO (through skinemax). Lots of hot interracial asian pron, people kicking each other in the face, not much else to it.

I lost interest in Law And Oder SVU when Stabler left. I still watch the repeats with him. The Big Bang Theory I never get tired of. The Daily Show I love Full Frontal, same. Cobert Late Show for the monologue Night Court I would watch if were on the cable I have Moonlighting, I can get on Youtube Hunter, I can find on Youtube Occasionally watch Next Generation and Voyager Xena Warrior Princess Diners, Drive In's and Dives Documentaries on WW2 Europe Anything about science and the age of the universe Crikey It's The Irwins "Too Cute" a show about puppies and kittens, but only when it is kittens. I am a cat fan. When those things are not on, I am usually on MSNBC or CNN. But at that point when my batteries die, it is more like waterboarding or having toothpicks held your eyelids open. I will walk on shards of glass to get the channel off of Fox. |
