RE: Marxism, what you got?

How does Marxism promise a fairy tale? Is the idea of workers owning their own livelihood really that far fetched? In reality, we have miniature Marxism all over the place in the form of small businesses. If you have a business with, say, a dozen people and all are invested, that's a Marxist reality. How is that a fairy tale? There are also ESOP companies but I've never been a part of one so I don't know how they work. But those are somewhat close to Marxist in nature. It's the idea that you aren't just a paid hand, but rather a full owner in the work that you do. For whatever reason, it just doesn't scale.
Why is it so?

The first is a contradiction in terms. To be enlightened is to know and understand things.

That's a false dichotomy. No, it isn't a contradiction. Enlightenment refers to a high level of natural wisdom. Being rational, means that you know and understand something well enough to provide a scientific explanation for it. Enlightenment refers to something that is innate, while rationality refers to something that is learned.

Quote:Marxism and Christianity are very similar insomuch that they both promise people a fairytale society,
Marx never promised any such thing he only said he believed his system would create a more egalitarian and he was a staunch critic of utopianism
Quote: but with the real intention of manipulating them by a small group of rulers.
Marx had no such intention and was a harsh critic of people who tried to use his idea's for their own agenda's
Quote:With both originators not being adherents of their ideology.
Marx never lived in contradiction with his own ideas.
Quote:The only difference is that the creators of Christianity added supernatural powers to Jesus for people to believe in it more fanatically.
There is no comparison

Rationality is not scientific pedigree is not innate knowledge is not learned behavior. Marshal your thoughts, exercise some discipline - or resolve yourself to demonstrable internal weakness?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

You must be homeschooled. You stated a false dichotomy about being simple and blissful or rational genius. You are suggesting one must be one or the other. That is not true.
Definition of Enlightened (Meriam Webster) - freed from ignorance and misinformation. (That's what one gets when one learns things. Education)
Definition of rational (same) - having reason or understanding
Wisdom is about having good judgement or insight. I've always had more difficulty explaining wisdom. But it is not enlightenment.

Wisdom is about having good judgement or insight. I've always had more difficulty explaining wisdom. But it is not enlightenment. I was raised Catholic. We didn't even learn math at my school. But I still think I'm right about how I defined those words.

No one said anything about being seen as weak but it none the less weakness and a destructive one at that

He said nothing about power

You clearly didn't read his post or have no understanding of it

Then your education was woefully poor

I had a lot of fun, and I am literate, so that's a plus.
