I think Jesus had previously agreed with them on the donkey borrowing. But by the way, I investigated to translate the meaning of the word “bystander”, and I found the following terms: spectator, eyewitness, witness, watcher, onlooker looker-on, passerby, non-participant.
Is it possible that the person in the place is the owner of the donkey and an eyewitness at the same time? Is it conceivable that the one who is in the place is the owner of the donkey and an observer, or an observer, or a spectator at the same time, or must the one in that place be present by chance, although there is nothing in the English text to suggest that?!

    on a colt, the foal of a donkey.
10 He will cut off the chariot from Ephraim
    and the war-horse from Jerusalem;

Is it possible that the story located at Matthew 21:1, Mark 11:1, Luke 19:27, John 12:12 is an allegory, in other words, fake?


First, read Matthew 21:1. It talks about 2 animals, an ass and a colt and Jesus wants both.
Read Mark 11:1. It talks about 1 animal. Oh oh! Contradiction!
Read Luke 19:27. It talks about 1 animal. Oh oh! Contradiction!
Read John 12:12. In this one, Jesus never sends 2 disciples. Jesus just walks into Jerusalem and finds a single animal: an ass.

The contradiction probably happens bc even the writers of these stories don’t know what to do. Does it make sense for Jesus to ride 2 animals?
This is evidence that these guys wrote whatever they felt like.

The story is an allegory, in other words, fake.
The owner of that blog decides to dump Mark, Luke and John into the trash and chooses Matthew.

This is what the owner of that blog says:

As already said, Jesus does not walk into Jerusalem on his own, although he could have done so. He sends out two messengers (two angels!!!, since the word “angelos” means “messenger”) to go and fetch him the two animals that are already bound. Is this not a reference to the angels that go to Mary and Joseph, who are already bound by betrothal ties? In response to their disquiet, the angels tell Mary and Joseph that the Lord needs them. They are needed to bring Jesus into the world. They will have the collaboration of some persons of good will, who also will recognize Jesus as the Saviour. They will then be “returned” to their normal life in the society (cf. Mark and Luke) and will be “sent” (cf. Matthew) and so, become messengers of the same Jesus Christ.

So, he says there are 2 animals. One of them represents Joseph and the other is Mary. Nobody has ridden Mary.
Their job is to bring Jesus into the world.
The owner of that blog sweeps the part about “unhappy owners” under the rug.

The accounts of Mark and Luke are more easily applicable to this allegorical reading. Both of them refer only to the tethered colt, adding that “no one has ever sat on it”. Here, one does not need much effort to see in this colt the person of Mary. She is already betrothed and so, tied to Joseph; she has never been “sat on”, as she tells the angel, “how will this be, since I am a virgin?”

All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, {21:5} Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

^^^^^The text says that this actually happened!!! It says it has to happen so that the prophecy will be fulfilled!!!

See, this is what reinterpreting something into an allegory gets you. The entire thing unwinds.
