The Official Television Thread
RE: The Official Television Thread (formerly Otter's Official Television Thread)
@Gwaithmir

I imagine you'll be watching this?

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power
Quote:Epic drama set thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien's 'The Hobbit' and 'The Lord of the Rings' follows an ensemble cast of characters, both familiar and new, as they confront the long-feared re-emergence of evil to Middle-earth.

On Amazon Prime.

Sticking with crime for a bit, since I'm not interested in anything else at the moment.

The Thaw
Quote:The body of a young woman is discovered in the icy river. The investigation is led by Zawieja for whom solving the case will be a fight for herself.

Well, that was a lame show.

Anyhoo, since I'm a fan of Jared Padalecki, I am going to finally watch Walker
Quote:A widowed father returns to Austin after one year, attempting to reconnect with his children, navigate clashes with his family, and find common ground with his new partner, while growing increasingly suspicious of his wife's death.

Walker isn't for me.

Now to check out Kleo

Having heard good things, I've finally decided to check it out.

Chernobyl

On Amazon Prime.

Watched the first two episodes. So far, it sucks (and not in the good way).

Actually, I'm waiting for the DVD collection to come out because I only subscribe to basic cable TV. From what hardcore LotR fans have been saying, however, it might not be worth watching. I think I haven't seen or read any good reviews to date.

Honestly, the saddest part of this show is when the dogs have to be shot.
