The existence of God

RE: The existence of God
We observe man-made objects and how we know it was designed because we designed them. Now show me the sun factory where suns are created by magic.

RE: The existence of God
Well, magic would be a third possibility. Organic chemistry, gods, and magic. Maybe life is explained by magic and not gods or chemistry.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Let's say organic chemistry is the scientific explanation for life, but not the full explanation. The thing is, theists argue that explanations work on more than one level.

I explained that in detail in a previous comment : https://atheistforums.org/thread-64357-p...pid2112546.

As a matter of fact yes, I can very well encounter a broken biplane in the middle of nowhere, or some remnants of, say, some uncompleted space project. I mean, it's not rare that people lose objects or leave them behind in all kinds of places ?

I have a big problem with the distinction you made above : designed things versus organically derived things, don't you see that you're already smuggling the conclusion that organically derived things aren't designed ?

I am using an ACER laptop right now, and I never walked into an ACER company or any of its assembly plants, nor saw or encountered any of their engineers. Should I believe that my computer is designed ? if yes, why?

Now show me the sun factory that makes suns by magic.

The video is a made-up conspiracy by pro-ACER propagandists (the same way theists produce videos of purported miracles). ACER companies most likely don't exist and my computer is the product of incremental evolution of natural chemical components.

Are you sure you want to go down this road with me?

So you dont, then, expect to find a biplane inside of a space shuttle. Maybe a field somewhere. Yet, this is exactly what we find with life, and do not find in the many machines you observe.

Idk about the other guy…but I for one would very much enjoy watching you go down that particular hole. It’s already pretty funny.

Nope it's rather obvious it's a man-made object and a hell of a lot more evidence than a magic sky wizard poofing things into existence

If by road you mean I provided live evidence of the claim laptops are manmade while you have yet to show me a sun factory where suns are created by magic

Sorry, your silly attempt to compare my real skepticism of your baseless claims of design for non-man-made objects to your made-up skepticism of objects that are observably man-made is simply dumb.... Dodgy

I will be a short road because his comparison is simply absurd... Dodgy
