217 Republicans just voted to cut Veterans care
The Department of Veterans Affairs projected the bill would reduce its budget by 22% and immediately rescind $2 billion in funding to support veterans. Some lawmakers said Wednesday that the proposal will result in 30 million fewer veteran outpatient visits and significantly increase the backlog for benefit claims.
“It’s cruel and it hurts our heroes,” said Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.
The bill is destined to fail in the Democrat-controlled Senate but Republicans hope to use it to boost their negotiating power as the U.S. approaches a default on its debt as soon as the summer.
Rep. Mark Takano of California, the top Democrat on the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee, said Republicans were reviving the same tactics that stalled last year’s passage of the PACT Act, which expanded VA health care and benefits for veterans exposed to burn pits and other toxins.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

They make it blatantly apparent to people who are paying attention rather than living in a propaganda bubble.

Beyond that, a frightening number of people pay little to no attention to how elected officials vote on legislation.

Marjorie Taylor Greene, Georgia Representative and Multi-Purpose Clown Shoes, has said (out loud, no less) that using tax dollars to fight climate change is pointless because people in the Ice Age didn't pay taxes to melt all that ice.

There's a certain class of person who doesn't care how hard they're hurt if somebody else is hurt worse.

What's legit incredible about that argument is she was apparently the only one who tried to make the marriage work and he was the first one to hire a divorce attorney. And, of course, it's literally all her fault. That and the divorce laws of Texas (along with literally every other state of the Union*).
Also, it looks like if the Missus can prove that the horseshit that we saw in that video was part of a pattern of cruelty (which shouldn't be too hard, if what I've read is true), that wouldn't even be a no-fault divorce. Then again, I wouldn't put it past Crowder and his ilk to go as far as saying that women shouldn't even divorce their husbands if they're abusive.
*Note: while all 50 states allow for no-fault divorces, there are three states that require mutual consent, Mississippi, South Dakota, and Tennessee, and apparently, there might be some circumstances where a unilateral no-fault divorce might be permitted.

They found a new apsurd thing to blame Hunter Biden for
Josh Hawley blames 'First Son' Hunter Biden for America's manliness 'crisis'
Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) agreed with Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy that Hunter Biden contributed to a "crisis" of manliness in the United States.
"There is no doubt that we have a crisis of purpose for men, especially young men in this country, and we just need to call these men to something higher," Hawley told Fox News on Sunday.
"But it comes down to an individual father taking responsibility for his family and his child, whether they're out of wedlock or not," Campos-Duffy opined. "And it's really shocking that right now, at this very moment, we have the first son, Hunter Biden, shirking his responsibilities as a father to little Navy Biden."
