Jury says Trump must pay E. Jean Carroll $5 million for sexual abuse and defamation
Quote:A New York federal jury found former President Donald Trump liable on Tuesday for sexually abusing and forcibly touching the writer E. Jean Carroll at a department store in the 1990s, and for defaming her last fall when he denied her claim.
The jury awarded Carroll $5 million in compensatory and punitive damages.
The verdict in the civil trial came after less than three hours of deliberations in U.S. District Court in lower Manhattan. The jury did not find Trump liable for rape, as Carroll had also alleged.

It's a shame that George Santos has been criminally charged. Is that any way to treat a Holocaust survivor who put his sousaphone career on hold to fight so bravely in the Crimea?

The rest of you have probably heard but it's news to me.
Bud Light sales have dwindled and its stock has been downgraded in a continuing fallout since the popular beer ran a promotion with transgender influencer Dylan Mulveney last month.
Parent company Anheuser-Busch InBev (ABI) sold $71.5 million worth of Bud Light in the week ending April 29, a 23% drop compared to a year ago, according to data from Bump Williams Consulting. Budweiser sales have hit $31.5 million so far this year, down roughly 11%, the firm said. Sales of other Anheuser-Busch brands — including Budweiser, Michelob Ultra, Busch Light and Natural Light — have also taken a hit.
Mulvaney, a San Diego-based trans rights activist and actress, posted an Instagram video April 1 to promote a contest for the beer brand. In the promotion, she showed off Bud Lite cans with her face on them commemorating her "365 days of girlhood" series in which she documents her gender transition.

The idea they are losing money has been kind of exaggerated

Though this really shows the mindset of the Magarats . They punished a company for putting a Trans Person on a beer can. Of all the problems going on going after bud light was some sort of priority. It's just freaking sad.
The comments section in the Newsweek one is the best people going on about how Bud Light "Alienated them" Just drink your beer and shut up already I also love the " Bud Light should stay out politics line " when you know that if bud light endorsed Donald Trump and put a Maga logo on there can they would be praising it to no end. They only dislike companies going into politics when it's politics they don't like.

It's the same when they complain about telling celebrities to shut up about politics but then endorse Kanye West or Clint East Wood or freaking Ben Stein or Tim Allen or Kid Rock. Oh yeah they hate celebrities in politics they hate them so much that they made a reality tv host the president
Or when they say "keep politics out of school "and then push the concept of " patriotic education " or push obviously partisan stuff targeting kids...

The Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Nonprescription Drugs Advisory Committee and the Obstetrics, Reproductive, and Urologic Drugs Advisory Committee voted 17 to 0, with no abstentions, that the benefits of making Opill®, a progestin-only daily oral birth control pill, available for over-the-counter (OTC) use outweighs the risks.

The disturbing bit is that there are people in the world who drink light beer.
