Some countries forbid you to marry your milk mother or milk sister until today ?
Arab and Muslim countries consider the woman who breastfed you when you were a baby five times to be your mother and her daughter is your sister and forbid you from marrying the mother or her daughter and consider it incest although she is not your biological mother at all. I want a medical and legal opinion to explain why that is not incest at all.

Medical opinion: If two people are not biologically related, incest cannot occur.

Legal opinion: It's up to individual legal jurisdictions - whatever a society defines as incest is legally incest (for example, in Japan (?), having sex with an in-law is considered incest).

Whether it is incest or not depends entirely upon the size of the font used in typing thr question.

Why is this under 'Questions, Problems, Suggestions, and Feedback'?

I imagine that wet nurses would really complicate matters.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Honestly, I don't even know what would be an appropriate topic for this.  smh

I looked into it a bit
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breastfeeding_in_Islam

It says
1. In Islamic law, breastfeeding creates ties of milk kinship
2. has implications in family law.
3. Muslims throughout the world have varied breastfeeding traditions.
4. The Quran regards ties due to milk kinship similar to ties due to blood kinship.

There is no explanation for them, no logic given.
Why is the magical number 5?
What kind of problems arises when the man and woman have sex or marry?

Some of the guys mentioned have been dead for a long time, so there is no way to ask them.
Urwa ibn al-Zubayr, dead at 713.
Ibn Hazm, dead on 994.
Ibn Rushd, dead on 1198.
Mohamed, dead on 632.

so, we can’t ask these guys.
Of course, that was a very long time ago, before the understanding of genetics.

There is a line that says:
Ibn Rushd, for example, ruled that the woman could now comport herself more freely in front of the nursed adult male, such as appearing before him unveiled.

It is obvious that covering a women’s hair was important back then. I don’t know why.
I have encountered muslims that say that it prevents them from being sexually attracted to the woman. I guess they don’t want other men to be attracted to their property or they are having difficulties with their emotions.
I understand. A lot of these old time religions consider sex to be taboo, something to not talk about, something to hide, something to make illegal.

Maybe you can ask some priest that is alive and see what they say.
What do you say? Is that law important for you?

Additional info:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incest
Inbreeding avoidance is rare in non-human animals.[197] North Carolina State University found that bed bugs, in contrast to most other insects, tolerate incest and are able to genetically withstand the effects of inbreeding quite well.
