That’s what, 60-odd dollars today? Seems a bargain.

Yeah, it's not worth going pro for $8.27/day.

Perhaps $8.27/kill.

isn’t killing its own reward?

And, let me tell you, with a major political party openly embracing authoritarianism and using an extreme interpretation of Christianity as their rationale for it, it's more necessary than ever.

FINALY! We get an honest, intelligent answer without all the fucking ideological bullshit!

Thank you . . . who are you . . . Rev. rye.

You object to the term military? The difference between the majority of atheists, who are apathetic, and the militant atheist, who isn't apathetic, is that the latter, not the former, are at war, in effect with theists. That's why I prefer the term anti-theist in this context.

People ask me if I'm militant theist, and I have to think about that because in this context, these forums, I am. But outside of these forums I'm not. By the way, I'm probably more at odds with other theists than I am atheists, because of that. The majority of theists have adopted apostate teachings and accordingly misrepresent God, the Bible and truth. That isn't just an ideological objection, it's historically well documented as fact. Not only that but they are at war with atheists and everyone else because they are self appointed moral police of the globe in God's name, without God's approval. That results in deception of anyone who might be interested in investigating the truth. Atheists just reject their nonsense and think no better of it. I can't blame you for objecting to them, even though only a part of the reason I myself reject them.

The frustrating thing to me, actually it's probably more amusing than frustrating, is that you think people like Moses, the Prophets, disciples, writers of the Bible are idiotic mythmakers, and you think people like Aristotle, Plato, Socrates, Anaxagoras, Anaximander, Empedocles, were great thinkers when actually Jewish and Christian doctrine comes more from the latter than the former.

Given all of that I don't consider myself at odds with atheists, I consider myself at odds with stupidity. Willful ignorance. Ideology.

And yet, here you are - an unbanned theist on an atheist forum. If being a theist was a ban-worthy offense, the hammer would have fallen over a year ago.

On the membership listing, go over one letter at a time, each person that has been banned and honestly look at why they were banned.

As someone who has done a fair amount of banning, I can tell you that people tend to be banned for two things: 1. Being a spambot selling something usually in a foreign language and 2. For breaking rules, often multiple times.  If you read the rules you will see that being a theist isn't a deal breaker.  Being a theist and breaking rules is as is being atheist and breaking rules.

But it's your lie, you tell it your way.

I'm new here, so my "lie" which I've experienced many times, is that theists ban people they don't want to hear and atheists do the same. You can say no theist is banned for being theist but when you go over the list do you see atheist being banned in the same number? When I came here - the same as anywhere else - people said how long. Slow burner. They know. They're not stupid.

A theist comes here to make trouble. Atheist like trouble with theists. Theist gets banned for trouble. I don't care, it's part of the game. In the reare cases where I don't get banned I get bored. The result is the same.

If we could ban people we don't like or that say things we don't want to hear there would be far fewer people here.

I still think staff should get one free pass a year to ban someone just 'cause.  But that's not how things are run here.

I don't envy your power. I can only imagine having to listen to all of the punk ass bitches who come whining to you because someone disagreed with them as rudely as they did from the start. I almost never report anything unless it really is spam. Trolling? That's just a smokescreen. If I had a theist forum I wouldn't ban anyone for trolling unless it got way out of hand. Sometimes that is the response to disagreement. If you can't win an argument harrass the person unmerciful. That's just easily ignored. In fact, I have to unignore one right now. Most the time people don't go that far, it isn't worth the trouble.
