Yes.
An OS may be sexually attracted to an object without falling in love. Or an asexual OS may have the reverse. Many have both experiences. Same with all other sexualities, I expect.

Appears to realize that this is transference akin to what a child feels about a toy, explains that they never "grew out" of it, understands that the relationship isn't reciprocal, expresses feelings of jealousy or possessiveness over the object - also has sexual thoughts about it.
Is this one in love with the gold digging psychopath or are they one of the delusional ones? Seems like neither.
On a personal note, I recognize that look on their face. I love a particular go cart like that, sans the sexual stuff - though I couldn't promise it never gave me a stiffy.

We could tease apart the love itself from the reciprocal element (laying aside the illusion of reciprocity). So I can experience reciprocity separate from love.
Love plus reciprocity is better than love on its own, I totally agree. But the love element is the same emotion, I can assure you. Love, as in the bare emotion, is the same thing. The details around it vary quite a lot, as they do for all relationships.
I guess until you have the experience of both human love and objectum love it's hard for people to compare and assess. But many objectums are not exclusive objectums and have human relationships too (both the OS in the video shorts I posted above have human love relationships, for example) and yet use the same word and expressions to describe both and if asked will tell you it feels largely the same. It does for me: certainly enough to unhesitatingly call both love.

Love+™ is either better-than and therefore different-than, or it is not. I think this whole thing has become a farce, since we seem to be explicitly discussing love-™, psychopaths, and delusionals...in the first place.
