The Navajo Nation has called for a delay in launching the commercial lander Peregrine, which is set to carry human remains on a private mission to the moon
We view it as a part of our spiritual heritage, an object of reverence and respect. The act of depositing human remains and other materials, which could be perceived as discards in any other location, on the moon is tantamount to desecration of this sacred space.

Are the remains precious or not? Is it the location that is precious?

Are those questions for me or them? If me, I have no clue.

The article I read the other day stated it was the location that was considered precious.

More rhetorical than anything else, due to the odd claim that human remains anywhere would be seen as "discards". And often we are told that land shouldn't be developed because it's native burial grounds.

London Mayor: Brexit Has Cost UK Economy $178B
London Mayor Sadiq Khan on Thursday will blame Brexit for costing the UK economy £140 billion ($178 billion), calling on the government to “urgently” rebuild relations with the European Union to stem the decline.
Britain’s EU divorce has also meant there are 2 million fewer jobs nationwide than there otherwise would have been, including 290,000 lost positions in London, according to research by Cambridge Econometrics commissioned by City Hall that the Labour Party’s Khan will reference in a speech at Mansion House.
Half of the total job losses are in financial services and construction. “The hard-line version of Brexit we’ve ended up with is dragging our economy down and pushing up the cost of living,” Khan will say, according to excerpts released by his office.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Ahh yes, but according to bozo Boris the NHS should be getting £350 million a week due to us leaving the EU, that must be why it's doing so well!

From the article:
“Had law enforcement agencies followed generally accepted practices in an active shooter situation and gone right after the shooter to stop him, lives would have been saved and people would have survived,”
But, cops, the people allegedly trained and payed to deal with these situations, might have been killed, and that we cannot have. Dead teachers? Fine.* Dead kids? Acceptable.* Dead cops? That's a bridge too fucking far!* Besides, just think of the cost to the taxpayer for those funeral parades.
(*)At least, according to out elected officials based on their thoughts, prayers, and lack of meaningful efforts to curb these fucking atrocities.
