In yet another piece of evidence that republicans don't like democracy, the RNC is considering a plan to simply declare Trump their 'presumptive nominee' and - apparently - do away with the rest of the primaries.

I am not a fan of Nikki Haley but I like this a lot. Well-played Nikki, well-played.
Trump's MAGA Ban on Haley Donors Met With Defiance and Merchandise Sales (msn.com)
In an unorthodox twist on political sparring, former President Donald Trump has declared that any financial supporter of his GOP rival, Nikki Haley, will be expelled from the “MAGA camp.” This unusual threat has, however, backfired in a sense, as Haley turned the admonishment into an entrepreneurial opportunity, selling “Barred. Permanently” t-shirts to her supporters.

JESSE WATTERS: Anyone who gets things done in Washington has to be a dictator. We're so used to empty promises that the idea that a politician could get elected and deliver the policies that people voted for quickly and efficiently is so foreign that anyone who promises real change on day one has to be a strong man. They sound terrified that Trump might secure the border, stop crime and drill. Now if you believe that you want to put America first, you're a Nazi, according to them. If you want America not first, you're a patriot. See, they're conditioning us to be ashamed of making our country great. Only the Nazis wanted a great country, I guess.

Bolding mine: Who told Jesse that we thought he wants to put the USA first. As with all nazis, he's only out for himself; and when he fails he'll do his level best to destroy all around him for "failing" him.

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem delivered comments today suggesting that she believes that Texas was one of the original colonies that signed the articles of confederation or a participant in the constitutional convention.
Noem: Texas and the 13 original colonies would have never signed the treaty that formed the first constitution of the United States if they didn't think their right to protect themselves and defend their own people was protected.
The only problem is Texas didn’t become a state until 1845

Turns out Ronny Jackson, the drunken hack who went down in flames for handing out pills like candy in the White House, was handing out ambien, fentanyl, morphine & ketamine like candy in the White House - but please go on about Hunter Biden’s struggles with addiction.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

The funniest bit about that is in the 48 hours after Trump made that idiotic threat, Haley received 2.6M in donations from the very supporters Trump threatened. Another sign that, the MAGA faithful aside, Trump's hold on the party isn't what it once was.

Lauren 'Carpetbagger' Boebert's master plan to run for re-election in a more conservative-friendly district doesn't appear to be working. After a debate among eight Republicans vying for the seat, attendees were asked to vote for their top choice. Boebert placed fifth, just trailing a local radio talk show host with no political experience.

It's an indication of how far under Trump's notoriously thin skin the Haley campaign has gotten that he'd make an idiotic pronouncement like that. Everyone knows Trump would never turn down a campaign donation.
I despise Haley, and I realize it's just a matter of time before she bails out and endorses the old gangster to get back in his good graces. But I'll speak well of her for as long as she can manage to make that spoiled, vindictive asshole seethe with rage.

She's just another lickspittle. The fact she's working so hard to deny your (correct, imo) prognostication is not a good point, to me; it just means she's the same lying sack of shit as the others.
