After Donald Trump became the Republican front runner, it’s become blindingly obvious that, as long as the person in question says all the right (or wrong) things in their culture war bullshit, anything else they do, they don’t care about it.

Musk wanted more layoffs.
She balked, said deeper cuts would undermine charging-business fundamentals.
He fired her and the entire 500-member team.
