I would suspect not, nor will the inevitable safety investigators be impressed, judging by the current workplace environments at his various enterprises.

His space business is a scam. And as soon as NASA realise he's not going to ever be able to deliver on the moon launch that's toast.
And the only reason it lasted this long is that he bribed the acting head of NASA into giving him the $3bn contract despite submitting what was obviously the worst bid.

Oh it's all a pump and dump scam...but...he's been pretty open about his desire to tank his other businesses and focus on the one. That's just one of the many things that makes their hundreds-of-times- overvalued stock price...and the surprise of investors, downright mystifying.

SpaceX is an innovative company. I just think that Musk may find a way to tank it by obsession with being Emperor of Mars.

Na, because it's contracts are predicate on someone other than him being the effective ceo, and it's institutional investors aren't as dumb as the average douchebro heavily leveraged into tesla.

Tesla's valuation beggars belief. $556 billion is absolutely ludicrious. Underpants-on-head and butterfly nets territory. It might be a failure of imagination on my part but I don't see it.

In terms of capital investment it may not be off. In terms of market outlook Tesla is certainly overvalued. They're about to get swamped by cheap Chinese EVs, and Tesla won't be able to cut MSRP in order to compete because they have so much plant that still isn't paid off.

It's not really, it's taking a fifty year old failed Soviet idea and bolting it onto an extremely impractical lander module (there are many good reasons why the original lunar lander was squat, small and didn't carry much, no good reasons for SpaceX's current design {unless you think using taxpayers' money to build a badly designed starlink dispenser is a good idea}).
SpaceX is at most two more missed targets away from losing its NASA contract, and then it has nothing.
It's a scam.

Before he fired off all his supercharger team because he is a spoilt little baby, I could see the company being actually worth maybe $20bn. But now, nothing, it's got four very old models that are badly designed and made, a new model which is a company killer, a couple of vapourware maybe models coming out some time between 2017 and the heat death of the universe, a "robotaxi" selling point that takes all of five seconds to take apart (if the robotaxi idea was a tenth as good as Galaxy Brain is making out it is, Tesla would have been re-directed to become a integrated car manufacturer/taxi company a few years ago) and a battery charging network that was slightly better than his competitors (a few years ago I'd have said the batteries too, but Tesla largely doesn't make its own batteries any more).
It's a company that ripe for squeezing into bankruptcy, not helped by the fact that it's being run by the Avatar of Dunning-Kruger and his yes men and women.
