What these non-cognitives don't realize is that there are literally not enough citizens to fill all of the necessary job functions. There are, broadly speaking, three solutions.

1. Wave a magic wand and make those jobs redundant
2. Increase the birth rate to above replacement levels and wait 20 years.
3. Increase immigration.

#1 is fantasy, #2 is unworkable, and for some reason a lot of USAians can't stomach #3 and I can't qwhite figure out why.
