Documentary about Grey's Anatomy writer Elisabeth Finch who faked to have a cancer.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Another film for the religious nuts.
Mary In this timeless coming-of-age story, Mary is shunned following an otherworldly conception, and forced to flee when Herod's insatiable thirst for power ignites a murderous pursuit for the newborn. Disappointed that Anthony Hopkins is in it.

Ha, yeah, every time I want to see whose famous actor's career is hitting rock bottom I look at the casting of (latest) Christian movies. Like John Corbett in "God's Not Dead," where he plays the bro character to Pastor Dave. I guess that's why straight actors need to play a gay character at least once so that they don't feel tempted to humiliate themselves to play in Christian movies.

New Wallace & Gromit coming.
Quote:Vengeance Most Fowl is Wallace & Gromit’s return to their home at the BBC 16 years after their previous adventure. The highly-anticipated feature-length film sees Gromit’s growing concern as Wallace becomes over-dependent on his inventions - which proves justified when Wallace creates a ‘smart gnome’ that seems to develop an evil mind of its own. As events begin to spiral out of control, it’s up to Gromit to put aside his qualms and battle sinister forces, or Wallace may never be able to invent again!
There's a new French movie which, judging by its plot, can only be a comedy. A family from France decides to visit the UK - something that doesn't happen every day. So you can imagine the hilarity when the people from sophisticated and cultured ambience visit London: the jokes write themselves. Like one of the first jokes has to be English food.

This looks intriguing.
