It looks rough. He's got a trifecta, all branches of government. His appointments will be rammed through. He can implement Project 2025. He'll almost certainly get to appoint some younger, more MAGA Supreme Court justices. The only hopeful bits are that he's terrible at keeping promises, our oligarchs may try restrain him from tanking the economy, and if he does, maybe we'll still have enough democracy left to hamstring him in the midterms.

I'm going to attempt to keep my mouth shut today at work, but I can't make a promise. If it comes down to it, I'll say, "I didn't vote for him because I don't agree with the republican message of hate."

I doubt his lazy ass can be bothered to really implement something like project 2025. He is there only to look after himself.

According to him and his team, repeatedly, including just this morning, he's going to deliver on mass deportations and drill baby drilling on day 1. One is already done so it's an easy cakewalk to taking credit, and the other succeeds in the attempt itself. I'm sure he can manage both those things.

Those "migrants" are all here illegally and deserve to be deported, they have NO right to be here in the first place.
And yes, we have huge deposits of crude oil and natural gas right here in the US, why the hell wouldn't you tap into it and lower the cost of basically everything?

Sure they are...I wonder how long it's going to take them to realize they can't move that many people...at least not alive anyway.
Anywho, the us already drills more crude than any country, ever. Doing this has not made the price of everything..or anything...come down. Trump and his Shadow Cabinet Minister Elon have already told us that the plan is to break the economy, and that americans should expect to feel economic pain.
