Devotees Drink air-condition Water Mistaken For ‘Charan Amrit’ at Banke Bihari Temple

A viral video on social media shows devotees drinking discharged AC water believing it to be ‘Charan Amrit’ at Vrindavan’s famous Banke Bihari temple. The video shows devotees queueing up to drink water dripping from an elephant sculpture on the wall.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Church that received relic from Padre Pio remains intact amid floods in Spain

According to the parish priest, Fr Fran Martinez, the church has not suffered any damage, something that many consider miraculous. Days before the disaster, the priest and a group of faithful brought a relic of the blood of St. Pius of Pietrelcina to the parish, trusting in his protection.

The community attributes the preservation of the church to the intercession of the saint, who, the parish priest believes, has kept the parish as a “oasis” amid the tragedy that, so far, has killed at least 214 people and left a large yet undetermined number of missing.

Retailer Pulls ‘A Gay in a Manger’ Merchandise After Backlash From Christians

British retailer Debenhams has recently pulled “disgraceful” Christmas themed merchandise from its online store following backlash. Sweaters and mugs depicted the Christmas manger with a rainbow and the words “a gay in a manger.” Christians in the U.K.—and around the world—are calling out the retailer for mocking religion.

British retailer Debenhams navigated heated feedback from Christians in regards to merchandise including the phrase, “a gay in a manger.” According to Daily Mail, sweaters and mugs depicted a traditional Christmas manger scene but with a radiant rainbow bursting from the manger. The words, “Gay in a manger,” accompanied the art.

“Debenhams would not mock Islam in this way,” said former British Parliament member Jacob Rees-Mogg.

One religious leaders who responded was Spirit Embassy Church in Tottenham Pastor Rikki Doolan: “What makes you think @Debenhams that it is OK to insult the Christian faith in such a disgusting way as this? Do you think it’s right to freely mock our faith and God like this? We as British Christians will not tolerate this.”

“The main issue at hand here is,” Doolan went on to explain, “if you are going to mock people’s faith then why do you only do it to Christianity? What is it that makes you feel it’s okay to do it to us? Unless you have gay Muhammad and Buddah T-shirts that we don’t know of?”

Because, you idiot christers do such a good job ridiculing Muhammad and Buddah that we don't need to bother. But, someone does need to take you down a peg.

Or maybe gay Jesus is not an insult but a sign of progress. Some people want to believe in a gay god. If there can be a black Jesus and a Japanese Jesus, why couldn't there be a gay Jesus for gay Christians?

Wow, so not only does presence of women insult the Church, but also "female" chromosomes in men.

Quote:Bishop Robert Barron on ‘Conclave’ movie: ‘Run away from it as fast as you can’

Bishop Robert Barron is urging Catholics to skip the new film “Conclave” — a fictional movie that depicts a papal conclave — saying that it “checks every woke box.”

“If you are interested in a film about the Catholic Church that could have been written by the editorial board of the New York Times, this is your movie,” Barron, the bishop of the Diocese of Winona-Rochester, Minnesota.

“The hierarchy of the Church is a hotbed of ambition, corruption, and desperate egotism [in the movie],” Barron continued. “Conservatives are xenophobic extremists and the liberals are self-important schemers. None can escape this irredeemable situation.”

In the movie, a fictional cardinal with female chromosomes and an intersex disorder is selected as the new pope.

The priesthood, including the papacy, is reserved for biological men.

So there you go, Cardinals have their chromosomes checked before being elected to be popes. Almost as if the makers of this movie were right about conservatives being xenophobic extremists.
