1. The right women (Transgender women ) to use women's spaces
2. The right of Transgender people in general to receive gender affirming care

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Quote:Trump nominee's top ally calls for polio vaccines to be pulled from market
A lawyer helping Robert F. Kennedy Jr. pick his public health team for the incoming Donald Trump administration has asked the government to revoke its approval of the polio vaccine, according to a new report.
Kennedy ally Aaron Siri, who represented him during his failed presidential bid, has also filed a petition on behalf of the Informed Consent Action Network asking to pause the distribution of 13 other vaccines and challenged Covid vaccine mandates, demanding millions of pages in documents from the Food and Drug Administration.
The polio vaccine has been widely used in North America and Europe and studied extensively since its development in 1977, according to its manufacturer, and more than 280 million people have received it worldwide, but Siri has called for the shots to be pulled from the market until they can be tested against placebos in randomized, double-blind clinical trials.

This lawyer is (offense intended) a fucking moron. You don’t do placebo studies to test vaccines against a rare and incurable disease. If you did, it would be necessary to find test subjects willing to be injected with poliovirus. But, since there’s no cure for polio, you’re going to run the risk of crippling people for life. Placebo-involved studies are used to test cures, not vaccines.
Unethical, much?

Plus, Polio’s been all but eradicated in the wild outside of Pakistan and Afghanistan. Reintroducing it for a vaccine trial, outside of the ethical question is fucking insane. Not to mention, given that the majority of people are vaccinated against Polio already, where the hell are we going to find people for this trial?

That’s not outside the ethical question, it IS the ethical question. In order to perform the idiotically useless trials this lawyer wants, you’d have to first infect healthy people with poliovirus. That’s Mengele-esque, that is.

Sigh...
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

They kinda have to do that. If your goal is to be anti-science, it’s good to team up with anti-science whack-a-doos.

Republican Lawmaker Claims That Star Wars Spacecraft is a 'Crashed Drone'
On Monday, Pennsylvania State Senator Doug Mastriano took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his frustrations with the fact that the drones are shrouded in such mystery.
However, the "drone" in the image shared by Mastriano is actually a prop recreation of a fictional flying vehicle from the Star Wars Universe.
