Could you expand on this, Dano? I'm not sure I understand what kind of teleology you're referring to.

Is that not just a failure of our language? 99.9%+ of all species ever extant have gone extinct.

Overall the notion we evolved to do X so Y isn't natural doesn't hold up. Gay people are perfectly capable of doing Y successfully we have numerous examples of other species doing Y so the notion Y isn't natural doesn't hold up to scrutiny.

Ah yes, but allegedly, a deity told some people, from bronze age patriarchal Bedouin societies that the kind of sex consenting adults indulge, is an affront to it.
I'd be inclined to tell it to fuck off, and or stop creating gay people, but only hypothetically of course.

The very notion that Christianity is persecuted is laughable considering the biases in their favour.

"I can't do that because of my religious beliefs!"
Okay.

Fuck off.

The human species, like all other mammals, has a certainly percentage of homosexual/bisexual members. The fact that homosexuals are a minority in no way implies that their sexuality is unnatural, any more than blue eyes being in the minority means that we with blue eyes are genetically-modified.
That a small percentage of humans behave in an unnatural behavior does not make it "natural" in any moral or practical sense; there would be many crimes that would be "normal" (happen often) that we still would not consider normal.
Quote:Then, too, you're entirely ignoring the fact that you, who claim that your god created everything, must accept that he created homosexuals too. Is any part of your god's creation "unnatural"? How is it your "perfect" god should create these damnable souls? Were they a surprise?
We have already discussed the fact that Christians believe in the concept of free will, I will not be repeating myself.

Humans evolved to do this, but that's irrelevant as homosexuality is observed in numerous other species on the planet and the fact our bodies evolved to do X does not in any way demonstrate it isn't nature (As it occurs in nature). Try again
I'm good - seeing you call acts like rape, filicide and pedophilia normal was pathetic enough.

I'm sorry I don't give al-Qaeda and ISIS Jihadis the benefit of the doubt, that they are actually my friend and I'm just being bigoted - that the people trading thousands of Kurds as sex slaves just a year ago suddenly are good guys who will leave everyone in peace.
