Quote:IMAGINE BEING HANDED the ultimate weapon to win a future war and throwing that weapon away.

That’s a fair description of what Robert F. Kennedy Jr. did last week when he canceled a $766 million government contract to develop a new bird flu vaccine.1

The contract was with Moderna, the Massachusetts-based biotech company that developed and continues to produce one of the original COVID-19 shots. The Biden administration awarded the contract last year, through a special government program designed to fund preparation for future public health threats.

Moderna was trying to use its know-how from COVID to invent a vaccine platform it could deploy rapidly against several types of influenza, including the H5N1 bird flu—a version of which, if you haven’t heard, has spread to the United States and is ravaging poultry farms. But it’s not the price of eggs keeping infectious-disease doctors up at night. It’s the possibility that a strain mutates, jumps species, and ends up in humans, who then start transmitting it to each other.

It’s happened before, in mostly isolated outbreaks, with mortality rates that reached 50 percent. That dwarfs the comparable figure for COVID-19, which in most countries was in the low single digits and yet still killed more than 7 million people around the world, including more than a million in the United States.

As much as I agree with the sentiment, I can’t support the action.

Muslim Hurls Molotov Cocktails At Jewish March

Quote:The Federal Bureau of Investigation () identified Mohamed Sabry Soliman as the man who shouted "free Palestine" as he attacked a march in Boulder Colorado on Sunday.

Six victims, aged 67 to 88, were transported to local hospitals after Soliman used a "makeshift flamethrower" and hurled "an incendiary device" into the crowd.

Four of the victims of the attack were taken to Boulder Community Hospital, and two others were airlifted to the Aurora Hospital Burn Unit. All six victims are still being treated, with one listed was seriously injured while the others received more minor injuries, according to police.

Current World Champion Gukesh defeated Magnus Carlsen for the first time in classic chess.

From Carlsen wiki article:

Quote:Film director J. J. Abrams offered Carlsen a role in the movie Star Trek Into Darkness as "a chess player from the future",
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

"During a May 7 protest on the Siekierkowski Bridge in Warsaw, two Last Generation activists were taken to a psychiatric hospital against their will, the organization said in a statement released;
Last Generation accused police of using methods reminiscent of practices "native to the USSR." Police officers were said to have threatened the activists with further attempts to detain them in psychiatric hospitals";*

So in XXI century, in the middle of Europe methods originating in Soviet Union are still used. It all happens under rule of supposedly liberal gov. Of course said gov also suspends constitution, fellates netanjehu and blames beavers for the recent flood so perhaps I shouldn't be overly surprised.

The first revolt is against the supreme tyranny of theology, of the phantom of God. As long as we have a master in heaven, we will be slaves on earth.
