The Official Television Thread
RE: The Official Television Thread
It aired a little early for me, age-wise. My telly watching didn't really begin until The X-Files aired in '93.

I have been re-watching Northern Exposure, thanks to Boru mentioning it, and am enjoying it a lot. The characters are so quirky. I had forgotten about Ed...I think he's my favorite.

Yeah, I also liked that show.

There is a new podcast led by a duo of actors that play Fleischman and Maggie where they discuss every episode. It's called "Northern Disclosure".
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Looks like I could watch it on Prime if I'm bored with nothing else to watch.

I like Ed quite a lot. If I had to pick a favourite, though, it’d probably be Chris.
