I wonder if the uproar over the war crimes resulted in capture instead of sinking. Or perhaps the tanker was flying a third-party flag?
Trump seems set on provoking an all-out war with the country that has the world’s largest proven oil reserves. Does anyone still think this is about drugs?

It's not about the oil either. Maybe it is for him, because his mind got stuck decades ago, but not in any traditional sense as in "we want the oil". There's a much better case to be made that disrupting oil supplies will help russia fund it's conquest of europe. Sideline to that, supporting the shared vision the turd reich has for "security" with russia ala spheres of influence. Russia gets Europe, China Gets Asia, we get the Americas.

President Donald Trump is blaming his predecessor, Joe Biden, for the affordability concerns that are roiling the US economy – and politics. Many voters, meanwhile, are blaming Trump for their financial woes.
Both sides might be wrong.
Biden and Trump both made policy decisions that affected consumer costs, such as the Trump administration’s tariffs that rattled supply chains or the stimulus that the Biden administration pumped into the economy just as it was coming out of the pandemic.
However, prices are not set by presidents. They’re set by businesses, sometimes through negotiations with customers. And as taught in Econ 101, prices are based greatly on supply and demand: More demand and/or less supply, and you get higher prices.

As taught, maybe, but as practiced..it seems as though it's cartels, not a negotiation between business and consumers or supply and demand, that determine prices. We've got housing cartels, agricultural cartels, energy cartels etc.

Australia’s gun laws were already among the world’s toughest. The Bondi massacre could spark even tighter controls

That's what happened in the UK about 29 years ago, not had a school shooting since then.
