In a trial of Stichting Brein (the Dutch copyright bloodhound) vs Ziggo and XS4ALL, 2 of the major ISP's in the Netherlands, to force them to block access of its clients to the PirateBay website, the judge may have missed a little bit of math and reading of statistics during his education.
Brein had brought up the statistic that of all illegal downloads with the use of TPB torrents in the Netherlands, 30% of them were done via Ziggo clients, and about 1.5% of them through XS4ALL clients. The judge therefore concluded that 30% of all clients of Ziggo downloaded via TPB torrents, and 1.5% of all XS4ALL users.

So if 30% of all traffic law violations are made by people in Volkswagen cars, 30% of all Volkswagen drivers are now traffic law violators.
