I love my Christian friend

RE: I love my Christian friend
Yes, the same way as Christians and Muslims...why we could go door to door, torture people who did not convert, have a crusade or two, and knock down perfectly good buildings with usable planes. Or we could not care. Is it imporatant to convert people to our way of thinking?

I think it is not about converting. I think everyone has a brain, which they should try to use. I would refrain from trying to convert people to my way of thinking. It is a personal choice and shuold be left to the individuals themselves.
Having discussions of this note, (on the internet or in physical) is the most I would be willing to do. I would refrain from doing what all religious missionaries do. Why would I want to publish hate literature and then instigate people against each other.

Besides I have no promises for paradise or a fear of hell, I am not sure how many people would I attract really.

Faith is under the right of free speech. Trying to let people think your way is just vanity, but of course nothing human is strange.

But what if your faith claims homesexuals, blacks, or women are inferior? Is it right to have that free speech when it leads to hate crimes, slavery, genocide, and subjugation of women? Or if your religious free speech leads to the murder of an abortion doctor?

It is essential to have that free speech without exception. What other means to fight ignorance would we have than to use our free speech against those faith claims? Pre-emptive nuking? Moreover, how would we know about those claims, without free speech?
